Karuthapillaiyur or Karuthapillaiyoor is a village situated in the banks of Karunai river and surrounded by farms. Karuthapillaiyur is located in Ambasamudram Taluk Tirunelveli District in the Indian state of Tamilnadu.

Karuthapillaiyur is surronded with a lot of picnic spots and tourist attractions such as Kutralam, Papanasam, Karaiyar and Servalar, Manimuthar, Agasthiyar Falls.

The village is surrounded by green paddy fields. Agriculture is the primary business in this area.

Our Village is a small village about 300 years old. This village is blessed with gifts of natures. The main occupation of the villagers is agriculture.
